We recommend comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing that can get messy. Closed-toe shoes or boots are best for outdoor exploration. In cooler or wet weather, layers and rain gear are encouraged so children can stay warm and dry while we play outside. Families will receive a seasonal clothing guide to help children stay comfortable and dry.

Yes. This is a caregiver-and-me program, and caregivers are expected to remain present and actively participate alongside their child throughout the session.

Forest school takes place in a variety of weather conditions, as outdoor experiences in different seasons are part of the learning process. In cases of severe or unsafe weather, families will be notified of any schedule changes. As long as it is safe, we spend most of our days outside, regardless of the weather.

Our Caregiver & Me Forest School is designed for children ages 18 months to 5 years, accompanied by a caregiver.

Weekly sessions typically run between 90 minutes and 2 hours, depending on the seasonal schedule.

Families are encouraged to bring water, weather-appropriate gear, and any personal items their child may need for comfort. Additional details may be shared prior to the start of each session.

To keep our community healthy, children who are experiencing fever, vomiting, or other contagious symptoms should stay home until they are symptom-free according to handbook guidelines.
